Welcome to Sportsworld CAMBRIDGE in the "Town of Champions."

Our store is VERY locally owned and operated by Peter and the team.

(Pommy) Pete has 23 years general sports retail experience mostly in the U.K and more recently managing Smith's Sports shoes in Hamilton. His main expertise is in racket sports (we re-string), footwear and fitness. In the U.K. Pete worked in the ski industry in retail and organised outside events such Demo ski days, racquet testing events etc. He also played league Table Tennis in England. He runs, plays tennis and fishes (rock or sea). He's set up some tennis demo events from the shop in Cambridge and would be happy to talk to your club about how we can help you in any way.

We stock a VERY wide range of sporting goods ranging from A for Asics to Z for Zed lures. If we haven't got it in stock we will try our hardest to get that elusive item for you.

We are more than happy to talk to schools, society, club, etc. about how we may be able to help so please don't hesitate to contact us.

Pete's wife Heather is a community midwife in the area so leads a very busy and unpredictable life at times. They have 2 children - Joshua born 1998 and Katie born 2002.

Rachel is keen on the fitness side and the clothing. She currently studies in Tauranga one evening a week as well, so her life is pretty full on.

Owen is also keen on his fitness and it shows!! He is also our gun and fishing guru, so come in and say Hi!!

We REALLY look forward to seeing you and hearing your stories. We'd like to learn from you as well as help you in your chosen leisure/pleasure time.
