Welcome to Hokitika Cycles and Sportsworld.

Nelson has owned our business since 1981. He is a dedicated Mountain biker, fisherman and water skier (even though he can’t swim). He is also a keen tramper – and not only our walking sporting encyclopedia but also a Certified Shimano Mechanic. If he doesn’t know it he’ll find it out.

Carolyn, Nelson’s wife has a passion for clothing and accessories and is a tap dancer, netballer and casual bike rider.

Cindy joined us in 2001. She enjoys surfcasting, camping, racket sports and hunting. Although now an administrator, if you catch her behind the counter you’ll find she also has a wide range of sporting knowledge.

Nina is our frontline sales person and is into hockey, shooting, and racket sports. She is also a very enthusiastic white baiter. Ask her for white baiting tips. With our all our sporting knowledge and advice, we’ll do our best to support your sporting interest. Look forward to seeing you!
