Hi… I’m Mike…
My wife Jan & I purchased Sportsworld Warkworth in Feb. 2003. We used to holiday in the area several years ago, and decided this was where we wanted to live.

Jan looks after the clothing, keeps an eye on stock levels, and brings a woman’s touch to the store.

I get to look after the interesting things… firearms, fishing, camping etc.

The white, furry, good looking one in the photo is Henry. He has a wide ranging job description….mainly throwing himself onto his back for customers to give him a rub.

Our promise to you? If we don’t have it, we will do our very best to get it for you.

CAMPING
Tents, sleeping bags, cookers & lamps, airbeds, backpacks….and necessary accessories.

FISHING
Mainly sets, for both surf & boat. Smokers, cray pots, flounder lights, hooks, sinkers & lures, much more.

FIREARMS
Air rifles, .177 for rabbits and .22 for possums. Hatsan & Gamo are our big sellers. Cleaning kits, gun cabinets and ammunition. And paintball guns for the kids…young and old.

BALLSPORTS
For rugby and soccer…socks, shorts, boots and balls. Basketballs, hoops, netball, hockey and cricket gear.

FITNESS EQUIPMENT
We are dealers for Infiniti fitness equipment and are the only York platinum dealer between Albany and Whangarei.

You can buy or rent from us - treadmills…exercycles…rowers …ellipticals…

We deliver from Whangaparaoa to Mangawhai.
